Role at a Glance
Entry-to-early-career opening at a New York-based enterprise SaaS startup that automates procurement workflows with AI. You'll configure the platform, prepare client data, and support implementation projects for the first year, then progressively own customer-facing work. Salary: $75K–90K. Schedule: hybrid (Tue–Thu in-office). No visa sponsorship. Explicit career tracks into customer success, technical solutions, or sales engineering within 1–2 years.
What This Role Is
Omnea is hiring an AI Solutions Associate to join its New York customer team — a structured entry point into enterprise SaaS for candidates with up to three years of professional experience, or strong fresh-graduate profiles. For the first twelve months you'll work behind the scenes: configuring Omnea's platform, readying customer data for go-live, and helping senior implementation leads coordinate deployments. From around month twelve onward you'll take on more direct customer contact and project ownership. Within two years, the expectation is specialization into one of four distinct customer-team career tracks.
About Omnea
Omnea is rebuilding how large enterprises buy things — eliminating the slow approval chains, multi-department email threads, and opaque vendor data that make procurement painful at scale. Its AI-native platform routes purchase requests, automates approvals, monitors supplier risk, and surfaces real-time spend visibility in a single system. The company has raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel; grown ARR tenfold in eighteen months; and counts Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons among its clients. It was recently ranked the fourth fastest-growing startup in Europe and received the Sunday Times' top mid-size tech employer designation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support senior Solutions & Implementation leads with platform configuration, data preparation, and deployment coordination for the first twelve months
- Ensure incoming customer data is clean, well-structured, and ready for onboarding into the Omnea platform
- Build and configure workflows inside the product tailored to each enterprise client's approval and procurement complexity
- Develop new platform use cases and become one of the team's deepest internal product experts
- Track progress toward deployment milestones, flag blockers early, and help launches stay on schedule
- Gradually take on direct customer interaction and project ownership from month twelve onward under S&I lead mentorship
- Champion customer outcomes by ensuring configurations match the operational complexity of each client's organization
Must-Have Qualifications
- Up to three years of experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment — consulting, a startup, a scale-up, or a strong internship track record qualifies
- Demonstrated high performance in at least one area: academics, competitive sport, prior professional roles, or a comparable demanding domain
- Tech-savvy enough to learn unfamiliar tools and products independently; you enjoy figuring out how systems work
- Exceptional attention to detail and the organizational ability to manage multiple concurrent workloads without losing threads
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting work to senior stakeholders
- Genuine drive and willingness to invest 12–24 months in foundational product and implementation work before stepping into larger roles
- A growth mindset — you actively solicit feedback and apply it quickly
- Existing authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship is available for this role)
Helpful But Not Required
- Prior exposure to enterprise B2B SaaS products or platforms
- Background in consulting, customer success, or implementation-adjacent work
- Experience preparing or cleaning structured datasets as part of a professional role or technical degree project
- Familiarity with procurement, finance, legal, or IT approval workflows
- Entrepreneurial ambitions — Omnea participates in the Future Founder Promise program
Skills Breakdown: Must-Have vs. Nice-to-Have
The core skill requirements sit at the intersection of technical aptitude and structured execution — not deep engineering or prior sales experience. Must-haves are: rapid learning of complex software products, meticulous data organization, workflow configuration thinking, and project coordination under senior guidance. Communication matters from day one, even though fully customer-facing work comes later in the progression. Nice-to-haves are contextual accelerants — prior SaaS or consulting experience shortens your ramp, but the role is explicitly designed for people who don't yet have them. The salary band maps 0–3 years of experience, so demonstrated potential and work ethic are the primary hiring signals, not domain credentials.
Salary and Compensation
Omnea advertises a base salary of USD 75,000–90,000 per year for this role. The lower end of the band corresponds to candidates entering with no prior professional experience; the upper end reflects approximately three years. Final placement within the range is determined through Omnea's internal leveling process during application and interviews — not fixed before the process starts. The company describes its benefits as competitive and geo-localized for the US market; the full US Benefits Package is detailed on Omnea's own careers page. No equity, bonus, or other cash compensation figures are specified in this posting — candidates should request the complete package breakdown during the interview process.
Benefits
- Competitive US-localized benefits package (full details on Omnea's careers page)
- Hybrid schedule — remote on Mondays and Fridays; in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Direct mentorship from experienced Solutions & Implementation leads throughout the first two years
- Structured career progression into customer success, technical solutions, account management, or sales engineering within 1–2 years
- Access to Omnea's Future Founder Promise program for entrepreneurially minded team members
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in Omnea's New York City office. The company runs a defined hybrid model: in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; Mondays and Fridays are remote. Relocation support is not mentioned in this posting. Omnea explicitly states it cannot sponsor work visas for US-based employees — applicants must hold independent US work authorization at the time of application.
