Role at a Glance
A relationship-heavy client success role for a Brisbane-based hybrid worker with hands-on Symplicity product experience. You will own a portfolio of university clients — driving platform adoption, managing escalations, running discovery workshops, and surfacing growth opportunities — while collaborating across sales, billing, and implementation teams. Salary not disclosed; no benefits listed in this posting.
What This Role Is About
Symplicity is hiring a Client Manager to take full ownership of the post-sale journey for its APAC client base. Based in Brisbane on a hybrid schedule, you will be the primary point of contact for higher education institutions — guiding them through platform onboarding, helping them extract measurable value from Symplicity's tools, and building the kind of trust where clients come to you first. The role blends account management with light implementation consulting: you need both the interpersonal skills to navigate institutional relationships and the analytical discipline to translate client challenges into platform-based solutions.
About Symplicity
Symplicity is a global employability software company whose platforms collectively reach over 30 million students. Its product suite covers career services, student advising, conduct management, housing, and campus life — tools that help universities manage the full student lifecycle from enrolment through to employment. The CareerHub integration strengthened Symplicity's presence in Australia and the broader APAC region, connecting institutions to a richer set of talent-matching capabilities. The company has publicly committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Need to Bring
- Bachelor's degree (field not specified)
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience working with Symplicity's product suite — this is a hard requirement

- Genuine interest in the higher education sector and the challenges universities face
- High energy, outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport across diverse institutional contacts
- Self-starter mindset — able to move projects forward without waiting to be directed

- Commitment to ethical conduct in all client-facing interactions
- Availability to work from Symplicity's Brisbane office one to two days per week
Skills Breakdown: Must-Have vs. Context
The must-have skill set here is weighted toward relationship management and communication rather than hard technical certifications. The one concrete, verifiable requirement is direct Symplicity product experience — without it, applications are unlikely to progress. Everything else (discovery facilitation, stakeholder communication, KPI management, problem-solving) is assessed through demonstrated track record. This is a mid-level role: junior candidates without platform exposure will find the product-experience bar a genuine hurdle; senior candidates should expect a hands-on, client-facing remit rather than a purely strategic one.
Salary and Compensation
Symplicity has not disclosed a salary range for this position. We have not estimated or inferred a figure, as doing so would be inaccurate. To understand total compensation — including base salary, any performance component, and additional benefits — candidates should raise this directly with the hiring team during the initial screening call. External benchmarking for client success and account management roles in Brisbane's SaaS and EdTech sectors can provide a useful reference point when preparing for that conversation.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in Brisbane, Australia and operates on a hybrid schedule: you are expected in Symplicity's Brisbane office approximately one to two days per week, with the remainder of your time worked remotely. No relocation assistance or visa sponsorship is mentioned in the job posting — candidates who require either should clarify directly with Symplicity before applying.
