Role at a Glance

Fully remote Director-level role at ID5, a leading privacy-compliant identity solutions company serving 100,000+ media properties. You'll own demand generation and partner marketing end-to-end: ABM campaigns, event and sponsorship decisions, CRM reporting, and co-marketing with platform and data partners. Requires 7+ years of B2B or ad tech marketing experience. Compensation includes stock options; base salary range not disclosed.

About the Role

ID5 is looking for a Director to take full ownership of how the company generates and converts pipeline across its multi-sided ecosystem of publishers, advertisers, and ad tech platforms. This is both a strategic and hands-on role — you'll define the demand generation vision, run account-based campaigns, oversee the events and sponsorship calendar, and serve as the marketing lead for all partner relationships. You'll work closely with Sales, Comms, Product Marketing, and Partnerships rather than delegating to a large team, making execution capability as important as strategic thinking.

About ID5

ID5 builds identity infrastructure for a digital advertising landscape where third-party cookies are disappearing and signal loss is accelerating. Its technology gives publishers, marketers, and ad tech platforms a way to address and measure audiences in a privacy-compliant manner — without depending on browser signals that regulators and platform vendors are steadily restricting. With more than 100,000 media properties and hundreds of ad tech platforms using its identity layer, ID5 has established the largest adoption footprint among independent identity providers. The company is remote-first, internationally distributed, and backed by strategic investors committed to its global growth.

What You'll Own

  • Define and own the demand generation and partner marketing strategy, converting company growth goals into prioritized programs across ABM, sponsorships, and partner activations.
  • Control budget allocation across demand generation programs, events, and sponsorships.
  • Build and maintain an account-based messaging matrix in collaboration with Product Marketing to keep all campaigns and content on-positioning.
  • Manage and continuously refine the target account list; design and deploy multi-channel lead generation campaigns — inbound and outbound — to engage priority accounts.
  • Own demand generation reporting: track KPIs, maintain CRM data accuracy, and manage campaign attribution end-to-end.
  • Evaluate and select sponsorship and event opportunities — both hosted and sponsored — based on their relevance to target accounts and priority audience segments.
  • For ID5-hosted events, partner with Sales and Partnerships on invitee outreach and registration campaigns to drive attendance.
  • Coordinate with Communications on event content and with the Events Manager on logistics to ensure each activation reflects the ID5 brand.
  • Serve as the marketing point of contact for all partner relationships, driving co-marketing programs, joint campaigns, case studies, collateral, and thought leadership that support partnership deal closure.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7 or more years in demand generation, account-based marketing, or B2B marketing; experience in the ad tech industry is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on CRM experience with the ability to build and manage automated email and nurture workflows (Zoho experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated track record collaborating with Sales and Sales Operations on account targeting, campaign strategy, and pipeline reporting.
  • Strong messaging and positioning skills — able to translate product value propositions into account-specific narratives.
  • Practical experience designing and fully operationalizing a partner or channel marketing program, not just planning one.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and converts partner and client relationships into long-term, productive engagement.

Nice to Have

  • Deep fluency with the ad tech ecosystem — publishers, DSPs, SSPs, data platforms, and the identity landscape.
  • Experience marketing directly to brand advertisers and agency buyers.

Skills Breakdown: Must-Have vs. Nice-to-Have

Core required skills center on ABM program design and execution, multi-channel demand generation, CRM management and automation (Zoho preferred), partner co-marketing, and the ability to report pipeline metrics to Sales leadership. Cross-functional collaboration is non-negotiable — this role interfaces with Sales, Comms, Product Marketing, and Partnerships daily. At the Director level, you own both strategy and execution; this is not a pure people-manager role insulated from hands-on campaign work. The nice-to-haves — deep ad tech ecosystem fluency and brand-advertiser marketing experience — accelerate ramp time significantly but are not blocking requirements.
