What You Will Own

  • Lead the full lifecycle of intelligence-focused products — from architecture through deployment and ongoing operation — including the AI/ML models and data pipelines that drive them
  • Set technical direction and actively support the career development of your direct-report engineers
  • Serve as the primary engineering partner for product management, customer support, and the operational teams who depend on these tools daily
  • Write and review production code in Python, Django, Next.js, React, and Node to uphold integration quality and engineering standards
  • Identify and operationalize AI-assisted development tooling across the team and embed AI capabilities directly into the products being built
  • Run team delivery inside an Agile cadence using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
  • Communicate engineering progress, tradeoffs, and plans clearly across organizational boundaries — in writing and in real-time collaboration

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping scalable web applications using modern frameworks — React, Django, and Node are explicitly required
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing a software engineering team
  • Hands-on proficiency with Amazon AWS services
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining third-party API integrations
