At a Glance

Attain (via its Klover platform) is hiring a Product Lead to own the zero-to-one launch of a credit builder and a reimagined BNPL product. Based in Chicago, IL — hybrid schedule, four days on-site and one remote per week. You will drive strategy, UX, engineering alignment, and post-launch revenue growth across a platform that already serves more than one million monthly active users. Salary is not publicly disclosed.

About This Role

This is a high-ownership, early-stage product leadership position inside Klover's newly formed fintech apps group at Attain. You will be the primary driver behind two new consumer credit products — a credit builder and a reimagined buy-now-pay-later experience — carrying both from initial concept through customer acquisition and meaningful revenue contribution. The role demands someone who can navigate fintech infrastructure complexity, shape product UX, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and sustain shipping velocity without sacrificing regulatory rigor. It reports directly to the SVP of Consumer Technology.

About Klover & Attain

Klover is among the fastest-growing consumer fintech platforms in the U.S., with a monthly active user count exceeding one million. The platform moves more than $1.5 billion annually, giving everyday consumers real-time access to financial tools designed for people whom mainstream financial services have historically turned away. Having built its foundation on earned wage advance, Klover is now expanding into adjacent product lines — credit building, buy-now-pay-later, credit cards, and banking — to serve customers at each step up the financial ladder. Klover operates as part of Attain.

What You'll Own

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle for Klover's credit builder and BNPL offerings — from initial concept and requirements definition through public launch, iteration, and measurable revenue contribution
  • Translate customer research findings and offer-wall demand signals into concrete product strategy, feature specs, and UX direction for new consumer credit products
  • Hold end-to-end accountability for the overall product experience, balancing customer satisfaction with core business performance goals
  • Work closely with the engineering lead to scope features, sequence the build, and sustain shipping velocity
  • Coordinate all internal teams and external partners involved in bringing a new fintech product to market — managing dependencies and timelines across the full launch process
  • Partner with growth marketing to design activation and distribution strategies that convert Klover's existing 1M+ monthly user base into adopters of the new products
  • Define key success metrics, instrument the conversion funnel, and iterate continuously post-launch to drive meaningful revenue outcomes
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure new credit products meet all applicable regulatory requirements

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with preference for time in startup or high-growth environments
  • 5+ years building and shipping consumer-facing mobile applications
  • Demonstrable project management strength and a high degree of attention to detail
  • Collaborative, outcome-driven mindset with a track record of pushing through organizational and technical obstacles
  • Ability to operate with significant autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high responsiveness standard

Skills Breakdown: Must-Have vs. Differentiators

The source posting labels all qualifications as 'Preferred' rather than designating hard requirements — candidates should not self-select out over a single gap. Core competencies center on consumer mobile product management (5+ years) and cross-functional leadership. These are the non-negotiable baseline at this level. Fintech domain depth — specifically around credit products, BNPL mechanics, and regulatory navigation — is embedded in the responsibilities rather than listed as a standalone requirement, but will be the differentiating factor for competitive candidates. UX sensibility is explicitly expected. Given the greenfield, low-structure nature of the role, soft-skill markers (autonomous execution, strong communication, collaboration under pressure) carry proportionally higher weight than they might in a more mature product team.

Salary & Compensation

Attain has not disclosed a salary range for this position. No compensation figures, pay bands, or benefits details appear in the source job posting. Candidates should raise compensation expectations early in the interview process — ideally during the initial recruiter screen — to avoid arriving at an offer stage misaligned. For independently published market data on product lead compensation in Chicago's fintech sector, resources such as Levels.fyi and Glassdoor maintain community-submitted figures, though JobForMe cannot verify or endorse those estimates. Benefits information was likewise not provided by the employer in this listing.

Location & Work Model

This role is based in Chicago, IL. Attain's hybrid policy for the Chicago office requires four days per week in-office and one day remote. The specific office address was not included in the posting. No information on relocation assistance or visa sponsorship was provided — candidates who require either should clarify directly with the recruiting team before applying.
