Role at a Glance

End-to-end ownership of Dr. Squatch's $200M+ Walmart business from Bentonville, AR. Two tracks: forecasting and replenishment health, plus order-to-cash operations. Lean team, high autonomy, direct Walmart Replenishment Manager relationships. Requires 7+ years in CPG supply chain with deep Walmart systems fluency. Published salary: $120,000–$150,000 base. On-site, full-time.

What This Role Is

Reporting to the Head of Mass Channel, this position functions as the operational nerve center for Dr. Squatch's largest retail relationship. The work spans two interconnected tracks: running the bi-weekly demand planning cycle that governs how product flows onto Walmart shelves, and managing the order-to-cash mechanics that translate those shipments into clean, reconciled revenue. It is an execution-heavy seat — lean team structure, extensive cross-functional partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales — and the expectation is that the person in it moves fluidly between Walmart's proprietary systems and internal processes without losing sight of the broader commercial picture.

About Dr. Squatch

Dr. Squatch is a natural men's personal care brand that built its audience through direct-to-consumer channels before expanding into national retail. The company holds a Great Place to Work certification and earned B Corp status in 2023 — markers of both internal culture commitments and broader accountability standards. Growth is active across multiple fronts: new product categories, additional retail distribution, and international expansion are all ongoing. The Walmart channel represents a major and growing slice of that retail footprint, which is why this operational role carries significant internal weight and visibility.

What You'll Own Day-to-Day

  • Build and maintain direct working relationships with Walmart's Replenishment Managers — proactively surfacing distribution-center and store-level inventory risks, aligning on CPFR cadence, and flagging supply constraints before they escalate into out-of-stock events
  • Lead bi-weekly demand planning for the Walmart account covering new-item introductions, ongoing replenishment cycles, and discontinuation forecasting via NOVA, Scintilla, and internal planning platforms
  • Hold daily accountability for OTIF and fill-rate performance: scorecard monitoring at the store and DC level, MABD compliance tracking, CPFR execution, root-cause diagnosis, and corrective action planning
  • Contribute S&OP inputs and revenue visibility to internal supply chain and finance partners, supporting forecast accuracy across the account
  • Structure markdown proposals for line extensions and modular resets, verify accrual accuracy, and support the Walmart negotiation process
  • Manage item lifecycle in Item 360, Supplier One, and GDSN — covering new item creation, cost and price changes, and modular verification
  • Administer Retail Link, Scintilla, and SP1 accounts including catalog management, reporting configuration, and defectives processing
  • Oversee PO intake and EDI order management (850/855/810 transaction sets), handling fill/kill decisions, special-handling requests, and ERP coordination
  • Triage invoice and ASN exceptions to prevent downstream deduction and match failures; coordinate with internal tech and ERP teams on integration health
  • Partner with Finance on deduction and chargeback disputes by supplying supply-chain context for coding and dispute filing
  • Support A/R accuracy by flagging allowance discrepancies, assisting ERP-to-Walmart reconciliation, and identifying unbilled revenue or overage rebilling opportunities for Finance to action

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a closely related discipline
  • 7 or more years of experience in CPG supply chain, retail operations, or order-to-cash — with direct, hands-on Walmart account responsibility strongly preferred
  • Hands-on fluency across Walmart's full platform suite: NOVA, Scintilla, Retail Link, Supplier One, Item 360, OTIF/SQEP, High Radius, APDP, and EDI/VAN
  • Financial acumen spanning deduction resolution, markdown economics, and supply-chain-driven cash flow visibility
  • Analytical capability to identify root causes, design repeatable operational processes, and translate data outputs into concrete actions
  • Proven track record managing a high volume of concurrent workstreams with precision and follow-through in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Effective cross-functional communicator — works fluidly with internal Sales, Finance, and Operations stakeholders and external Walmart contacts
  • Self-directed, high-urgency work style with a history of driving outcomes without requiring ideal resources or complete information
  • Based in Bentonville, AR or prepared to relocate; consistent physical proximity to Walmart's home office is a firm condition of employment

Nice to Have

  • MBA or graduate-level business degree

Skills Breakdown: Required vs. Preferred

The non-negotiable technical baseline is deep, current proficiency in Walmart's proprietary platform ecosystem — NOVA, Retail Link, Scintilla, Supplier One, Item 360, OTIF/SQEP, APDP, High Radius, and EDI transaction management (850/855/810). Layered on top: S&OP contribution experience, CPFR methodology, and financial skills covering deduction resolution and markdown economics. An MBA is a stated plus but does not substitute for Walmart systems fluency, which is the actual differentiator at this seniority level. Seven-plus years of direct CPG account work is a floor, not a guideline.
