What This Role Is

This is the senior product leadership seat for Maritime Digital Production — Anduril's software team that builds and operates the technology layer running inside its shipbuilding factories. Rather than owning a single product line, you'll hold vision and investment accountability across the full software portfolio: factory data infrastructure, the manufacturing execution system, a scheduling and optimization engine, and AI tooling designed to eliminate repetitive manual work on the shop floor. What You'll Own

  • Define multi-year product vision and portfolio-level investment strategy across MDP's four software domains
  • Own and arbitrate the cross-domain roadmap, resolving competing priorities between factory data infrastructure, MES, scheduling optimization, and AI initiatives
  • Establish team-wide standards for capturing and prioritizing functional requirements (features, workflows) and non-functional requirements (performance, capacity, reliability)
  • Translate stakeholder requests into underlying problems — discerning when the stated ask is not the right solution
  • Conduct regular firsthand user research on the factory floor, talking directly with technicians and operators to surface product improvement opportunities
  • Navigate organizational dynamics between Maritime Digital Production and platform partner teams, advocating for the manufacturing customer's perspective
  • Keep MDP's roadmap synchronized with the Corporate Technology product organization on shared platforms, standards, and cross-team dependencies
